ALFFOOD represents several of the world´s leading producers of high-quality raw material and food ingredients. The producers are from all over the world, and we in turn make what they produce available to the Nordic and Baltic food industries. More recently the field has been widened, and ALFFOOD has stepped out onto the international market, with sales in, for example, the UK, Ireland, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Our ambition is to expand even more, but in accordance with our fundamental line, where possible takeovers must fit into our portfolio.
Our managing director
Peter Widell has been active in the food business since 1989, when he happened to get a job at dairy firm Skånemejerier (nowadays Lactalis) while waiting to do his national service. In 1997 he completed his degree in Food Technology at Lunds University, after which he returned to a job at Skånemejerier, with his main focus on product development and bacteria cultures. After that Peter was headhunted to meat processing firm Scanfood, where he worked for three years as head of production. Between 2002 and 2006 Peter worked with technical sales at Radell AB. Between 2006 and 2011 Peter worked for a Danish firm, building up its market in Sweden, after which he became managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for an American company.

In 2016 ALFFOOD was taken over by its present owner and managing director Peter Widell, who, with his passion for food in general and product development in particular, has continued to develope and refine the legacy after the previous owners.
In 2008 a previous employee called Alf took over, hence the name of the firm.
In 1978 the firm was founded by Donald Radell under the name Radell AB.
